Here you can find out all the info you will need on how to submit your work to the club.

All submissions need to be submitted to the Photography - Animals, Plants, Nature category.

We will not accept photos that have been extensively manipulated (whether in an image editing program or in a traditional darkroom) beyond normal adjustment for exposure, light, levels, curves and the like.

We, as Admins reserve the right to reject any submission we feel does not fit the guidelines of this club.

This is a club for your best pieces of nature photography to get exposure, so please only submit the best from your gallery!


One submission per member per week.
(A week here is defined as the period from Monday to Friday 12:00 PM PST.)
We will check up on when you last submitted so make sure you don't submit more than one piece a week. So please keep track yourself first, or your note will be ignored.

To submit a deviation to the club's gallery, you must send a note to *naturephotographer and include the following:

"Submission" or "Submit" in the subject line
Title of the deviation
Thumb or link to piece in your gallery

We will no longer accept "Artist comments"
We need to encourage people to visit your page to read the comments there. This will also help minimize accidental favourites on the club submissions.

Add a Thumb or Link...

To display a thumbnail, you need to use the :thumb#######: notation, where # is the number of the deviation in which you wish to display. You can find the :thumb#####: for your deviation to
the right of the artist's comments, under the deviation.

To link images you will need to open the deviation you would like to link to by clicking on it in your gallery. You then will copy the URL address from your browser and then paste the URL address into your note. This will create [Link] which will be a clickable link!

Whichever method you choose, if you click on "preview" before sending your note you will see either a thumb of your image or the [Link] in your note and you can double check that they
work by clicking on them

Adding an avatar to your journal

: iconusername : will display the members avatar as a link to their page. Change "username" to "naturephotographer" and remove the spaces before and after the colons. Remember, however, that the limit for posting blocks of avatars is sixty four, and this will not work in signatures.

note: you can also add avatars and stamps in the text area of your deviant Id on your front page, which eliminates copying and pasting, for members without subscriptions and is permanently visible

For signatures, : devusername : Again, change "username" to "naturephotographer" and removing the spaces before and after the colons will give you the members name as a link.
